Seabourn Offers Sweetheart Deals
On Romantic Valentine's Day Cruises

Complimentary Airfare or Bonus Hotel Night

Lovers looking for the ultimate romantic getaway for Valentine's Day this year should consider unwinding with a week of soothing sunshine, candy-blue Caribbean seas and sugary-white beaches board either of Seabourn Cruise Line's casually-elegant Seabourn Goddesses.

Dedicated to relaxation, play and shamelessly sybaritic pampering, Seabourn Goddess I & II provide a cozy haven for just 58 couples each, enhanced by a bevy of the most romantic and unspoiled island retreats imaginable. The intimate yachts are ideal for those who appreciate the very best, but prefer not to pack a tux or a tie for their vacation. As if all that wasn't incentive enough, this year the lucky couples will also get either complimentary roundtrip airfare or a bonus hotel night on a tropical isle - and they'll have an extra day to recover after the cruise because Monday, February 19, is a holiday when the United States celebrates President's Day.

Couples can expect the finest cuisine afloat, served in an open-seating dining salon by the most celebrated staff in the industry. Wines are complimentary with luncheon and dinner, too. All accommodations on board are comfortable suites, with a bar stocked to the guests' requests. The ships also boast unique, fold-out water sports marinas that turn them into private islands when anchored in a secluded cove. One romantic highlight guests are sure to enjoy is the line's signature Champagne and Caviar in the Surf party, complete with an elegant crystal-and-china "barbecue" on a beach.

And where will lovers be on Valentine's Day? Those aboard Seabourn Goddess I will awake to find themselves anchored off the picturesque French village of Marigot on St. Martin, a great place to shop for imported bonbons or silky lingerie. Guests awaking on Seabourn Goddess II will see the verdant hills of Tobago rising above the quaint fishing village of Charlotteville. Later they can marvel at the unspoiled coral reefs, hike the lush forests or laze on the island's golden beaches.

Seabourn Goddess I will sail February 10, seven days roundtrip from St. Thomas, calling at Cruz Bay, St. John; Christiansted, St. Croix; Virgin Gorda, B.V.I.; Marigot, St. Martin; Gustavia, St. Barts; and Jost Van Dyke, B.V.I. Fares, including 30 percent BESTTM savings, start from $2,790 per person, based on double occupancy and include a bonus complimentary hotel night on St. Thomas either before or after the cruise.

Seabourn Goddess II sails February 10, seven days roundtrip from Bridgetown, Barbados, calling at Bequia, Grenadines; Castries, St. Lucia; Mayreau, Grenadines; Charlotteville, Tobago; and Carriacou, Grenadines. Fares, including 15 percent BESTTM savings, start from $3,345 per person, based on double occupancy and include complimentary roundtrip airfare from any of Seabourn's 117 gateway cities in North America.

Film Festival Brings Cruise Ship to Cannes
Fort Lauderdale Int'l Film Festival to Charter the Seabourn Goddess I
And Offer Unique Hotel at Sea for Cannes 2001

The Fort Lauderdale Int'l Film Festival is negotiating with Seabourn Cruises to charter the Seabourn Goddess I, during the 2001 Cannes Film Festival.

Seabourn Cruises, one of the world's leading cruise lines, and the Fort Lauderdale Int'l Film Festival, (the world's longest film festival) have the perfect solution to the lodging logjam at Cannes. Motion picture company execs and their attending stars can book a cabin on-board the Seabourn Goddess. Parties and interviews will be held on board, thereby avoiding the panic of Cannes hotels. 24-hour room service, five star service, water sports, 24-hour tenders, plus all meals and open bar is included.

Set to sail from picturesque Málaga, Spain on May 12th, into Cannes, guests will then cruise into Cannes harbor with fireworks bursting above into the night-time Mediterranean sky. The ship remains in port until the evening of May 18, when it sets sail for Nice. Guests can return home from Nice or from another prearranged destination.

Seabourn and Cunard Launch New Global Web Sites

Seabourn Cruise Line and Cunard Line have launched highly interactive Web sites, detailing information on the luxury lines' eight vessels and worldwide destinations. The evolving sites, located at and and soon available in four languages, feature more than 200 graphically enhanced images that depict Cunard's rich British heritage and grand ocean liner travel and Seabourn's three distinct styles of intimate, ultra-luxury cruising.

"From a view of any suite or cabin to detailed information on worldwide itineraries, we have redesigned both Cunard and Seabourn's Web sites with a high degree of interactivity and the latest cruise information to meet the needs of both travel professional and consumers," said Larry Pimentel, president and CEO of Cunard Line and Seabourn Cruise Line. "Everything a consumer needs to know about our two distinct brands is now available online, in a visually pleasing, fast, and easy-to-access environment."

The two-month redesign project was headed by DHI Visual Communication, which has offices in Chicago and Vero Beach, Fla. Programming and database integration was completed by, also of Vero Beach.

The web site designs reflect each line's new branding strategies. The Cunard Web site exemplifies Cunard's proud British heritage and 160-year history. It also provides details and itineraries for its grand ocean liners -- the famed Queen Elizabeth 2 and Caronia (formerly Vistafjord). By mixing vintage photos of historic ships and Cunard's White Star Service™ with images of today's cruise experience, the Cunard Web site mirrors the line's branding strategies and "Advancing Civilization Since 1840" advertising campaign, which was launched last fall.

The Seabourn Web site reflects three unique styles of intimate cruise ships -- the ultra-luxury global resort cruiser, Seabourn Sun; the all-suite luxury mega-yachts, Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend; and the casual luxury yachts for the adventurous travelers, Seabourn Goddess I & II. By utilizing images and a design style that evokes the glamour and grandeur of the Seabourn cruise experience, the Seabourn site highlights its marketing and "On Top of the World at Sea Level" advertising campaign, which was also launched fall of 1999.

To reinforce Cunard and Seabourn's global presence, soon each site will contain a splash page, where consumers can choose from four different languages (English, German, Japanese and Spanish) to view the site. Both the Cunard and Seabourn Web sites include complete cruise details and itineraries, with a variety of methods to customize the cruise search that best fits the viewer's lifestyle, desired destination or vacation schedule. Then, by clicking on a specific cruise, the viewer can learn complete details of that cruise, including theme cruise information, shore excursions, golf programs and land extensions.

Another key feature on both new sites is pop-up windows showing deck plans and room layouts, deck-by-deck, room-by-room. At the click of the mouse, web browsers can locate their own room number. The content of both sites is driven by databases, allowing each line to update information instantaneously. Now, consumers and travel professionals can view the most up-to-date information, including itinerary changes, special offers and pricing discounts.

The sites' news area, which includes press releases and company information, will be updated immediately so that information will now be made available as it develops. Cunard and Seabourn will soon launch an Interactive Press Room (IPR), which will be linked to both sites and will include more media-specific information. In addition to traditional news items such as press releases, company facts and executive biographies, the site will also maintain downloadable videos and photography.

Both Seabourn and Cunard sites also allow visitors to request printed brochures and send email messages to Cunard and Seabourn customer service personnel.

The secure travel agent section, available first quarter of 2000, will provide travel professionals with direct access to sales representatives and the respective account executive, retail and group booking information, on-line forms and more.

New and upcoming features of the evolving sites include virtual postcards where browsers can email postcards worldwide; a secured section for Cunard World Club and Seabourn Club frequent cruiser incentive program, where club members can check their club status and have access to special promotions; onboard shopping for purchase of Cunard and Seabourn logo wear, and virtual ship tours, where guests can experience the feel of each vessel.

Cunard Line, one of the world's most recognized brand names with a classic British heritage, and Seabourn Cruise Line, an ultra luxury cruise line with contemporary Scandinavian-style vessels, is operated by Miami-based Cunard Line Limited. Cunard Line Limited is a unit of Carnival Corporation (NYSE: CCL). The Cunard fleet includes famed Queen Elizabeth 2 and Caronia. The Seabourn fleet includes Seabourn Sun, Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend, and Seabourn Goddess I & II.
